Uber Announces New Chief Trust and Security Officer

Matthew Olsen, the former General Counsel for the National Security Agency, will join Uber as its chief trust and security officer, the company recently announced. He joins Uber from IronNet Cybersecurity, of which he was a co-founder, president and chief revenue officer. Earlier this year, Uber announced its hire of Ruby Zefo, its first chief privacy officer, as well as Simon Hania, who is slated to join in the fall as data protection officer.
