Uber Announces Hires of Chief Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer

Uber will soon add Ruby Zefo as its first chief privacy officer as well as Simon Hania as its first data protection officer. Zefo joins from Intel, where she was vice president and chief privacy & security counsel. Hania, currently the vice president of privacy & security at TomTom, is slated to join Uber in the fall.
