The novel audit requirement in New York City’s AI transparency law, which took effect in July 2023, has been daunting for employers. This second article in a two-part series about the pioneering law offers companies helpful steps for meeting its obligations, covering the process from using the AI tool for hiring to avoiding enforcement. Part one analyzed the approaches of five published audits, including one now removed from the web, and explained legal interpretations that companies may be using to avoid publishing audit results.
