Part one of the series analyzed a novel New York City law mandating bias audits for automated hiring and promotion algorithms. Part two discussed standards issued by Illinois, Maryland, California, the EEOC and the DOJ, which last month settled with Meta and required it to discard discriminatory algorithms used to place ads.
