Evolving Career Path and Rising Compensation for CISOs

The role of CISO continues to evolve and grow in importance, and compensation is increasing as well. A recent study of 354 CISOs and other senior information security professionals conducted by executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles examined the structure of companies’ information security programs, key duties, reporting lines, career paths and CISO compensation.
