Law firms, faced with the threat of breaches and a dizzying amount of electronically stored information through which to parse, are constantly looking for ways to handle data more efficiently and securely. Littler Mendelson recently hired Aaron Crews as a shareholder and its first chief data analytics officer to help structure their efforts. The Cybersecurity Law Report spoke with Crews, who previously worked on these issues at Wal-Mart, and his colleague Michael McGuire, the CISO and also a shareholder of Littler, about changes to lawyers’ roles and the way law firms function.
