Six Articles Reflecting the State of Affairs on Data Transfers

This summer brought us revisions to standard contractual clauses from the European Commission and final recommendations from the European Data Protection Board for transfers of personal data to third countries to comply with E.U. data protection rules. As we predicted in our 2021 privacy resolutions article in January, companies have been focused on finding a solution for international data transfers this year. As we approach the unofficial last weekend of the summer and prepare to enjoy the Labor Day holiday in the U.S., we highlight six of our articles that cover the latest developments in laws and guidance impacting foreign transfers and contain practical advice on managing those transfers.
