Fierce competition has emerged between vendors offering all-in-one cloud security platforms. Vendors claim these products protect companies from “code to cloud,” across all the applications, platforms, data flows and infrastructure that they use in the cloud, as well as ease regulatory compliance. The new platforms bundle together earlier generations of standalone products, touting a list of capabilities and technologies that “is a mouthful to put into one sentence and even more burdensome to evaluate and buy,” Forrester principal analyst Andras Cser told the Cybersecurity Law Report.
