Succession planning is part of good corporate governance, and many companies expect their GCs to develop a succession plan for the role. The process can be complicated and require some sensitive navigation. To assist GCs in creating effective succession plans, BarkerGilmore recently hosted a program where panelists discussed their approaches to the task, the benefits of succession planning and best practices around implementation.
