Electronic Communications, Cooperation Standards and Other Emerging Trends in the SEC’s Oversight of Private Funds

After the JPMorgan case, every SEC investigation of a registered firm presumes some off-channel communications exist. Given that investigative mentality, firms face enforcement challenges.
