Evidence is mounting at Tesco, one of the U.K.’s largest retailers, that its “Little Learning Leaps” microlearning approach to employee compliance training increases uptake and retention, allows for better customization to job duties and current events, and employees prefer it. Tesco’s microlearning program replaced single lengthy training modules with multiple short bursts spread out over time and allowed learners to test out of future content by demonstrating their existing knowledge.
