Prioritizing Public-Private Partnerships in an Increasingly Complex Regulatory Environment

The U.S. government is taking steps to aggressively counter ransomware attacks and is seeking more effective public-private cooperation to jointly fight malicious cyber actors. At the same time, however, the government is also expanding regulatory obligations, oversight and accountability for private-sector entities. These conflicting actions frequently result in private sector confusion.
