Debevoise & Plimpton recently announced that Luke Dembosky – Deputy Assistant Attorney General for National Security at the Justice Department’s National Security Division and the highest-ranking official at the DOJ focused primarily on cyber investigations and prosecutions – will join the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy practice and litigation department as a partner in the Washington, D.C. office. Dembosky was the senior DOJ lawyer on the Target, Sony Pictures and Anthem breaches, among many others, and has acted as a DOJ ambassador in its efforts to strengthen public-private cooperation on cyber matters.
